Lingniu Hydrogen Helps Build Green Ports, Awarded as Excellent Typical Case of Future Industrial Innovation and Development by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2024
Recently, the High tech Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced excellent typical cases of future industrial innovation and development in 2024. The "Green Port Construction - Large scale Application of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trucks in Ports" project, applied by Zhejiang Haigang Jiaxing Port Co., Ltd., was successfully selected as a typical application scenario for future energy. The project was jointly constructed and implemented by Zhejiang Haigang Jiaxing Port and Lingniu Hydrogen Energy.
Under the cooperation of Jiaxing Port and Lingniu Hydrogen, the green port project "Dongfang Hydrogen Port" has been successfully operated for 3 years. The project operates efficiently 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and can be used for two days after adding hydrogen once. The monthly integrity rate exceeds 98%, which can save costs by 15% compared to traditional oil vehicles. It can save fuel costs of about 3 million yuan per year, reduce carbon emissions by about 6000 tons, and achieve green zero carbon emissions. This project is a strong proof of both parties' efforts to promote cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and green development in ports, and is also a successful case of hydrogen energy ports worldwide.
As one of the typical application scenarios in the field of future energy, this project focuses on "future energy" among the six major directions of future industries, demonstrating the broad application prospects of hydrogen energy in the logistics and transportation industry. It represents a breakthrough in cutting-edge technology, and its feasibility and economic benefits have been verified through practical applications, providing important reference cases for the transformation and upgrading of the entire industry.
The excellent typical cases of future industrial innovation and development collected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2024 mainly focus on the six directions of future industries (future manufacturing, future information, future materials, future energy, future space, and future health).
