On December 28th, at the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, the delivery and departure ceremony of the second batch of 190 hydrogen fuel cell cold chain logistics transport vehicles by Guangzhou Development Zone Transportation Investment Group · HTWO Guangzhou · Modern Commercial Vehicle was held in Guangzhou, with the power of "hydrogen" to embark on a green future. This batch of vehicles has been officially delivered to Lingniu Hydrogen Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd., and will start from Huangpu, radiate to the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and strive to build a new model for the national fuel cell demonstration city cluster. "Hydrogen" will strive to create a fuel cell demonstration application project with commercial value and market-oriented promotion.

Witness the new milestone of hydrogen energy application in China

Under the trend of accelerating the global transition towards green and low-carbon, Guangzhou Development Zone Transportation Investment Group has demonstrated extraordinary foresight and outstanding leadership, actively promoting the development of the hydrogen energy industry. As early as June 13th this year, the first batch of Hyundai HTWO4.5T hydrogen logistics vehicles were successfully delivered to Lingniu Hydrogen Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. Since its official operation in August, in just five months, these vehicles have accumulated over 300000 kilometers of pure hydrogen mileage, achieved a cumulative reduction of 105.46 tons in transportation carbon emissions, and achieved a 100% attendance rate. Under standard transportation conditions, the average hydrogen consumption per 100 kilometers of the vehicle is 2KG. Calculated at 35 yuan/KG of hydrogen, the cost per kilometer is only 0.7 yuan, while the lowest hydrogen consumption is as low as 1.64KG, with a cost per kilometer of only 0.58 yuan. Compared with traditional diesel vehicles, it shows obvious economy, and the vehicle only needs 10 minutes to refuel, with no deterioration in winter range and completely green zero emissions. Both economically and environmentally friendly, this project has set a new record for hydrogen energy application and is undoubtedly one of the projects with extremely high comprehensive value in China.  

Now, the second batch of 190 hydrogen cold chain logistics vehicles has been successfully delivered to Lingniu Hydrogen Energy Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. This batch of hydrogen cold chain logistics vehicles will be used in urban cold chain distribution scenarios such as fresh supermarkets, catering canteens, high-end cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. This move will once again refresh the operational scale of a large number of hydrogen powered cold chains worldwide, and witness the development of China's hydrogen energy industry entering a new milestone.

Building a new highland for regional hydrogen energy industry

As "urban air mobile purifiers", these hydrogen cold chain logistics vehicles are equipped with modern advanced 90kW fuel cell technology and large capacity hydrogen storage tanks, achieving an average energy consumption of 2.5kg per 100 kilometers. The cost per kilometer will be lower than traditional diesel cold chain models, with a range of up to 567km. The launch of this product will effectively solve the application pain points of range and economy in the green and efficient transformation requirements of the cold chain supply chain.
