Lingniu Bring Green Hydrogen Port to the Maritime Silk Road Port cooperation Forum(MPF 2025)

On May 27th, the 2025 Maritime Silk Road Port Cooperation Forum (MPF 2025)with the theme of "Green Sharing, Smart Interconnection" opened in Ningbo for four days. It was jointly hosted by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transport, and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Marine Economic Development, and organized by Zhejiang Port Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group. Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Governor, was invited to attend. As a green energy technology service enterprise, Lingniu Hydrogen Energy participated in the exhibition with the green zero carbon port demonstration project "Oriental Hydrogen Port" and a 49 ton hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck, jointly exploring the low-carbon transformation path with the global port and shipping industry.
MPF: Building a Green Port and Shipping Cooperation Platform
The establishment of the MPF is one of the earliest and most mature international port and shipping professional forums in China. It aims to build a port and shipping cooperation and exchange platform under the framework of the "the Belt and Road" from a global perspective, promote the construction of a global community of shared future for ports and shipping, and has now become an important platform for promoting exchanges in the global port and shipping industry. This forum attracts representatives of port and shipping enterprises and institutions from more than 60 countries and regions to participate in in-depth discussions on topics such as decarbonization of shipping and smart ports. In the main forum, the application of clean energy such as hydrogen has been mentioned multiple times. The "Oriental Hydrogen Port" project of Lingniu Hydrogen Energy resonates perfectly with the theme of the forum.
Oriental Hydrogen Port: Green and Zero Carbon Port Demonstration Project
With the support of the Jiaxing Municipal Government in Zhejiang Province, the "Oriental Hydrogen Port" was jointly established by Zhejiang Haigang Group and Lingniu Hydrogen Energy. It has been successfully operating for 3 years and is a successful practice of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and green development in ports, as well as a successful case of global hydrogen energy ports.

Significant Carbon Reduction Effect In Ports
The global logistics industry accounts for 10% -15% of global carbon emissions, and ports are an important part of the logistics industry. Heavy trucks, cranes, material handling machines, and other essential equipment for port operations have a huge demand for carbon reduction. As of May 2025, the "Oriental Hydrogen Port" has invested more than 100 hydrogen energy trucks, which can reduce carbon emissions by about 6000 tons for Jiaxing Port every year. This project has been selected for the "Special Pilot Task for Building a Green and Low Carbon Transportation Strong Country by the Ministry of Transport (First Batch)" and has been awarded the "Excellent Typical Case of Future Industrial Innovation and Development by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2024".

Reduce Cost And Increase Efficiency
According to project data, by the end of 2024, the monthly operational vehicle integrity rate of " Oriental Hydrogen Port" will exceed 98%, with an average hydrogen consumption of 8kg/100km, which can save 15% of costs compared to traditional oil vehicles. It can save fuel costs of about 3 million yuan for Jiaxing Port annually. Green transformation is not a cost burden, but a new engine for high-quality development. "In the current era of doubled emission reduction pressure in the global shipping industry, Lingniu Hydrogen Energy has verified this statement with practical projects.
49 Ton Hydrogen Powered Heavy-Duty Truck Unveiled: Transportation Equipment Suitable For Port Scenarios
The Hydrogen Wind Hero (Third Generation) 49 ton heavy-duty truck, which has attracted attention in the forum exhibition area, is adapted to high-frequency operation scenarios in ports with fast refueling and long endurance capabilities.
Compared to traditional diesel heavy-duty trucks, it has lower operating noise and is more suitable for nighttime operations in ports.
In the future, we look forward to collaborating with more port operators and shipping companies, starting from Oriental Hydrogen Port, to jointly build a global port carbon neutral green ecosystem.
